I play this text-based RPG called "Torn" (link here) in which you live as a criminal, in Torn City.
You train stats, commit crimes, and generally make money. You can buy many properties, get a job, and travel to other countries.
There are even drugs (GASP) which you can use to help boost your stats. You can join a faction (like me) in which the people can help make you better, and support you throughout you're younger stages. then, you can use your stats and your weapons to war, with rival factions, for respect throughout the city, as the strongest faction.
Join here and I'll give you free items to get you started:

UK Riots - Appalling
I am utterly ashamed by the UK riots.
These people claim to rioting in protest, when really they're just looting for their own personal gain, stealing TV's and other high cost goods. The reason they claim to be protesting is for revenge of a drug dealer, who was shot in a firefight. A FIREFIGHT. That means bullets went both ways. He shot at the police, the police shot back. Even the family of the drug dealer have condemned the riots, knowing that the drug dealer was just a spark for the hate filled youth to group around.
Not, of course, that I am saying that all youths are hate-filled! Me and my friends are ashamed by the acts of these people, who have no morales at all.
The parents also hold some blame though, because they don't stop their children from going out. I mean, it's not like you wouldn't know, when your 12-18 year old kid (supposedly the main constituents) walks through the door holding a slightly battered HD TV, despite the fact that they don't even earn money.
All in all, it's a bad day for London, and the UK as a whole, because it's indicative of the attitude of the younger generations. I can only be glad my parents instilled into me, a respect for my society

Chrome forever.
I love Google Chrome. As the second most popular browser, most of you have probably heard of it.
It's used by almost 1 in 4 people, similarly to Mozilla Firefox, but recently overtook it in terms of popularity.
I love it for its sleek feel, with the clever use of the top bar, and the massive viewing space; a minimalistic, uncluttered screen, which really helps when you have a low screen resolution. It also loads faster than any browser, due to a multi-process system, that prioritises exactly what you need right now; snappy browsing on what you want!
And, essentially, it has extensions. Extensions took of with Firefox, the most customisable browser around, which I used to use. However, Chrome implements extensions too! While the API for developers isn't as extensive, Chrome is growing ever stronger as time goes on, and I hope soon it will implement the same level of development that Firefox does.
Another, less well known feature of Chrome is how it updates. Unlike Internet Explorer, which has large, bulky updates, infrequently, Chrome has tiny, efficient updates of less than 1% of the size, which do all the same things. However, rather than the user seeing a notification to "Restart to apply update", Chrome automatically downloads and applies the update when you open a new tab.
That seamless integration means that the user is always on the cutting edge of well-optimised browsing, with high-security too.
This is why I love Chrome. Try it out and see for yourself:

Particularly for those of you using IE. Just because your system comes with it, doesn't make it good. I mean, you were born without the knowledge of walking, and look how free you are now! Try Chrome. If you don't prefer it to IE... You need help. No, seriously.

Making swords... In real life
I really like swords, but there's the slight problem of shops not wanting to sell them to me... I gave no idea why xD
So instead, I have decided that I shall craft some myself! I'll make them out of wood, of course, and then I'll probably temper the edge by adding some other, hard wearing material on the edge. Then I'll paint it of course...
By the way, they're likely to look like anime swords, so sorry in advance xD
Pics to follow!
If anyone has any tips on how to make the sword, or ideas on specific wood or tempering material, feel free to comment!

PARKOUR!
I'm a parkour guy, yes. I've been doing it on and off for a couple of years now, only seriously in the past 4 or 5 months though...
I've always been told that I'm "fearless" with my jumping, or, as some put it, "an idiot." However, it is just that I know what my body can do! That is what parkour means to me; Using your body to its best ability.
To be honest though, parkour allows you to utilise the full capacity of your body, for free movement. It shows how the limits we place on ourselves can be overcome, through perseverance.
If you're interested in doing parkour, feel free to comment or go here:
Feel free to go on the forums and post!

Kongregate - Free Flash Gaming Online
Link:
http://www.kongregate.com/
I use Kongregate loads, and for two main reasons:
There are always really good games, from the newest (e.g Learn to Fly 2) to the classics (Age of War <3)
Badges. They use an ingenious achievement system, where you perform feats in the game, and get badges and points for doing it. These points then add up, and are represented by a level.
I find it's a really good way to motivate you to play a game and achieve certain tasks, and adds a feeling of accomplishment to the game. Also, since Kongregate is part of the GameStop network, there is talk of future rewards based on points earned, such as Xbox games, gift cards, etc.
You regularly get challenges that have added bonuses, such as an entry into some sweepstakes, or extra points, or a new avatar and quest.
Overall, I think it is a really fun gaming site, that I visit regularly!

Counter-Strike Source
Yet another amazing game. I paid for this... Twice. It uses the source engine, so that means easy mods, easy control and customisation of a server, and all the variants of the source games you could want:
Zombie Infection/Escape
Deathmatch games
RPG levelling between games (Increase health, regen, ammo, etc)
Surfing (personal favourite)
Deathrun (run past various obstacles, another favourite)
